Here is a gallery of images of animals in development. We aren't sure how much these images have been enhanced & altered with CG but one thing we can say for sure, they're still amazing.
Elephant developing at 11 weeks
The Asian elephant at 22-month gestation period, the longest of all mammals.
By 12 months it looks perfectly formed.
At 12 months, it is an average of 18 inches long and weighs approximately 26 pounds.
Dog developing at 30 days. It is approximately 2 centimetres in length - no larger than a grape.
Dog at 60 days, nearly full-term. A full coat of hair, nails and paw pads are present.
Dolphin at one month.
At one month the dolphins develop tiny leg-like limb buds that dissappears within two weeks.
